Marked for Musikk: Thanks for now - See you in 2018

Thursday last week Norwegian Marked for Musik 2017 was wrapped up after three intensive days
30 Oct, 2017

110 Norwegian and foreign artists and almost 200 representatives from cultural houses, festivals, libraries from around Norway, as well as international guests took on Larvik, Norway at Marked for Musikk 24th - 26th October - all with one common goal: to create more great concert experiences for children and youth.

Almost 30 concerts from a variety of genres for the target group 0-18 years were introduced. The ambition of the Marked for Musikk organisers is to showcase the best music Norway and Europe have to offer for children and youth. Among the international productions presented this year was the YAMawards 2017 winner La Balle Rouge from France.

On the Norwegian youth blog ungestemmer.no (youth voices), Norwegian student Caroline reviewed the concert:

We are taken on a journey through topics such as love, being in love, divorce and children growing up... La Balle Rouge is a beautiful, heartbreaking and touching performance... It is easy to understand why this performance won two prizes at the YAMawards 2017.

(translated from Norwegian at ungestemmer.no)

All concerts presented at Marked for Musikk have gone through a thorough selection, and before this year's event, the program council reviewed more than 200 proposals.

The date for next years Marked for Musikk will be October 23th - 25th 2018.
