For the past 26 months, ten partners representing eight different countries - all Jeunesses Musicales International members - have cooperated and fougth hard to make more and better young audiences music concerts around Europe; to exchange players and music groups, to build competencies among YAM professionals and develop and strengthen the entire YAM field.
The project took off with the first major YAMsession in Umeaa, November 2014. Since then partners and many other YAM professionals have met at two more YAMsessions and five national showcases around Europe. Existing knowledge and the knowledge accumulated during the project has been channeled it into this very website.
Right now we're wrapping up and tying all lose ends, evaluating all activities and finishing reports. But even though the project officially ends, the many activties initiated as part of the project will continue! Stay tuned for all news within YAM on facebook and on this very website.
