YAMsession is an international event for creative professionals working with live music for young audiences. Bringing together musicians, programmers, producers, bookers, educators, intellectuals and organisers, the event looks to piece together the different elements that make up young audiences music development, exploring it’s future whilst interrogating its present.
YAMsession 2018 will take place in Santiago de Compostela, Spain from the 17th to the 19th of October at the renowned Cidade de Cultura complex. It will present a series of international live showcases from around Europe, host a “live producing session” as well as provocative talks and discussions from internationally renowned guest speakers. YAMsession also includes the YAMawards, which celebrates the word's best music productions for young audiences.
